We are pleased to announce that our Montessori Dementia Care Professionals online course has been approved for Continuing Education to Case Managers! The 6 credit course has been pre-approved by The Commission for Case Manager Certification to provide continuing education credit to CCM® board certified case managers.
The “MDCP Montessori Dementia Care Professional” 6-hour online course is recommended for dementia care professionals to begin applying a Montessori approach with individuals in their care, or for anyone that wants a strong foundation in how a Montessori model of care can improve quality of life for persons with dementia. Participants gain practical tools and techniques for increasing independence and engagement by focusing on a person’s strengths and interests, and rethinking how we view dementia as a disease.
